It’s that time of year again, it’s back, not that it felt like it went anywhere. But, the Premier League is back.
After a summer of glorious football in Russia and with the English team progressing to the semi-finals, It hasn’t felt like two weeks have passed since the blue side of Manchester were celebrating a record breaking season.

As an English man in Wales, the summer was bitter sweet. Enjoying watching the likes of Trippier, Maguire, and the stand out player for me, Pickford. But having to put up with the Welsh “banter” when they finally were knocked out, but let’s not get into that.
The summer has been a whirlwind of rumours, what’s new? Being a Chelsea fan, a lot! Last minute deals in and out. Some big boots to fill, or gloves, as the case maybe. And a new, all be it, big character at the helm. With the disappointment of no Champions League but still an F.A cup, let’s hope they can push on for a top 4 finish with some type of silverware this year.
With the season returning, it means only one thing. Fantasy Football. Personally, what with all that’s been going on here at home I haven’t had a chance to get my team together, but I will be involved by game week 2. I’ve got a reputation to uphold. It gives me a reason to keep an eye on all of the results over a weekend and if Chelsea aren’t having the best of seasons it keeps me interested. I might get the lil’ man to pick a team this year to get him involved.
Speaking of the lil’ man, this season could see him start to show a real interest. He was intrigued during the World Cup and I think it sparked an interest. He was collecting World Cup player cards, and picking his favourite players. Hopefully, we can get to a game this season, might have to be an F.A Cup game, but they are unpredictable and amazing to watch, so hopefully his first game will be a memorable one.

Let me know if you have a memorable game you want to share or any fantasy football tips for the season in the comments.
